bustdown of the day

I thought I would never find someone more gheto and more bustdown than Beyonce....that is until Kimora Lee started poping up all over the place! I am trying hard to find something that is not bustdown about her....hair, makeup, and outfit. Maybe she is really sweet....

My friend was looking for a camera...

As part of their batch-release of new Cybershots, Sony introduces the 8-megapixel DSC-T20 and DSC-T100, "destined to be the fashionista crowd's favorite party companion," at less than 0.5-inches thick. The T100 is a slight upgrade with its 3-inch LCD screen and 5x optical zoom Carl Zeiss lens, while the T20 sports a 2.5-inch LCD and 3x optical zoom Carl Zeiss lens. Both come with three accessory options for high def photo viewing, all compatible with Sony's VMC-MHC1 HD component cable for an easy connection to an HDTV set or to Sony's CSS-HD1 high definition Cyber-shot Station that includes a bundled component cable and remote. They also offer Super Steady Shot optical image stabilization, up to ISO 3200, and a Bionz processing engine, initially used in Sony's Alpha DSLR system, that allows users to "keep snapping for the duration of the party" -- about 340 shots for the T20 and 380 shots for the T100, on a full charge. Keeping with this party-hardy theme, both also feature Sony's face detection technology, automatically adjusting white balance, flash, focus and exposure while identifying up to eight faces in the LCD frame. The color selection, of course, will "match your party gear" with coordinating cases sold separately. The T100 will ship in March for about $400 while the T20 will be available later in April for about $330.

Speakers for the guy with it all

I have a friend is always looking for the ultimate in home stereo speakers....though these might not be the best they are the most unusual...and they would look pretty damn good! O'hEocha Speakers look very futuristic, with a design that seems as though it may have been taken directly from a science fiction movie, and offer some of the best performance - three-dimensional soundstage performance, to be specific - that you can find. The 200-watt isobaric speakers are handcrafted in western Ireland from aircraft grade aluminum and a PVC/steel composite. Each has three main components. On top, each speaker has a 1-inch tweeter drive that "minimizes resonance transfer from midrange to treble." Below that, the units have 6.5-inch rotating drive units that allow you to aim the sound for optimum quality and sound experience. Each also has an 11-inch subwoofer that "generates thunderous bass" at frequencies as low as 25Hz. The entire design is geared towards minimizing any potential sound wave distortions and as an added precaution, the legs of each speaker taper to a pinpoint where they meet the floor to minimize resonance transfer. Price: $9,000.

Rockridge Sound VTS-384

The Apple hifi not good enough for you? How about the Bose Sound Dock? Still not satisfied? Well look no further! Rockridge Sound is the place to look for a luxury speak dock for your iPod. The Japanese manufacturer's VTS-384 has "full analog" sound from a pair of 2x2W (8ohm) speakers, sound which Rockridge says is the best type for amplifying compressed audio files of the kind iPods play. On top of performance, the good-looking system comes with a remote and both RCA and USB jacks, should you want to use a non-iPod music source. The VTS-384 is being rolled out in Japan this month at around $780.

DeGournay Wallpapers

Decals and other wall accents are all well and good for someone who wants to accessorize the rooms in their home, but for others, there is nothing better than the all-over design offered by wallpaper. DeGournay Wallpapers are all hand-painted, offering a level of both personalization and sophistication that is unmatched by other papers. In addition to the high-quality work, the designs are highly original, and while plainer, repeating patterns are available, DeGournay really shines through their scenescapes.

bling bling...Beyonce's gheto ass better get to tha sto

Gheto piece of the day
This gheto top is the latest from the Milan runways...I just found Beyonce's next Source award outfit! The top was shown off during Milan fashion week. It is represents a partnership between Gianfranco Ferré and Dalumi. The sheer black top is covered with more than 900 diamonds weighing more than 300 carats. The outfit was modeled by singer Skin and also featured tuxedo pants and a silk cape.

Cuvée Louis XV Champagne

The 1995 vintage of Champagne has produced some of the most expensive and well-regarded sparklers around. Another cuvée joins the list. The Cuvée Louis XV from Champagne de Venoge will be officially launched in Tokyo at Foodex March 13-16. It has already been released worldwide since December and according to the company it has been selling well.

The name celebrates Louis XV because he issued a decree that allowed the wines of Champagne to be both shipped and marketed in bottle, rather than by barrel thereby trapping the sparkle of fermentation. The cork's cap is a replica of the 1728 "Louis d'Or" gold coin. The champagne, which is aged ten years, comes in a distinctive bottle that comes with a cut glass stopper so you can use it as a decanter when the Champagne is gone. The packaging alone is worth the price....oh and rule of thumb...if you have to ask the price, you can't afford it!

Does anyone still wear Prada? Who in their right mind would wear this crap? If I were getting ready to launch an IPO...the last thing I would do is launch such a piece of shit collection! Check out what not to wear.

Dont forget to check out the rave review as well...Im sure those rave reviews had nothing to do with the advertising dollars that Prada spends in Vogue!

bustdown of the day

DiCaprio dons Jaeger-LeCoultre at Oscars

Hollywood's leading man Leonardo DiCaprio donned a Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Minute Repeater to Tinseltown's most anticipated night of the year, the Academy Awards. Valued at approximately $175,000, the Master Minute Repeater is a limited-edition platinum timepiece with a sapphire caseback, a 15-day power-reserve movement and a hand-stitched alligator-leather strap. A collector of Jaeger-LeCoultre timepieces, DiCaprio owns two others: the Master Compressor Geographic and the Reverso Septantieme. The rose-gold Master Compressor Geographic includes a dial that displays the names of cities in 24 time zones that correspond to the local time where the wearer currently resides. The Platinum Reverso Septantieme has a silver guilloché dial, silvered Arabic numerals, a day/night indicator, the JLC signature large date, a small second dial and a power-reserve indicator. Dicaprio has sported Jaeger-LeCoultre timepieces at a number of other red-carpet appearances this year. He wore the Master Minute Repeater to the Golden Globe Awards, the Screen Actors Guild Awards, the New York premiere of The Departed and the Los Angeles premiere of Blood Diamond.

Not only is Leonardo a good actor but he also has good taste!

Prototype of Eco-Friendly Luxury Home Revealed

A Scottish building company has plans to create a luxury home that is also environmentally friendly home. The Stewart Milne Group has designed a home that has a wind turbine, solar chimney and water-saving devices. The UK government has announced that all new homes should be carbon neutral within the next ten years and this home meets the government's code for sustainable homes. The homes other features include an open floor plan with flexible interior spaces and large terraces which are built into the design so that the home can be used in urban environments. All of the environmentally friendly add-ons increase the cost of the new house by 20% at this point but the company expects that number to go lower later. The design isn't bad but it seems to me that those wind turbines might be of issue in some communities.

dolce gabbana mens fashion show fall/winter 2008

The global rounds of fashion week have brought us a wide variety of styles that range from boring to out of this world. One fashion house that always manages to blast off is Dolce & Gabbana. The Italian duo takes a space voyage with its winter 2008 menswear collection. With loads of metallic silvers, bronzes, and gold, the collection has a very space program theme to it. Coats and and pants reminiscent of spacesuits are blended with sleek sweaters and form fitting leather. Dark suits with metallic ties lend a secret agent feel to the collection all the while continuing the not-so-subtle celestial theme. The item that I feel is the hotspot of the offering is the tight biker jacket in a variety of materials. I'm thinking I'll be needing one.

Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera revealed

The cat, errr, bull is out of the bag, with both images and the press release about the Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera circulating the web. The 'purist' Gallardo gets an extra 10 hp and 154 fewer pounds (in U.S. trim), allowing the Italian hyper car to sprint to 60 in 3.8 seconds, .2 seconds less than the standard Gallardo. The weight reduction comes from swapping out a number of components with carbon fiber bits, including the wing mirrors, door panels, engine cover and the central tunnel's covering. After the diet, the Superleggera tips the scales at just 3,152 pounds -- 5.5 pounds/hp.

Those of you financially solvent enough to put a down payment on the lightweight Lambo should read the press release after the jump, since you'll want all the details before orders are accepted next month.

PRESS RELEASE

Sant'Agata Bolognese, Italy - With the Gallardo Superleggera, Automobili Lamborghini presents an uncompromisingly high-performance sports car. Thanks to increased power (an additional 10 hp) and a 100 kg reduction in weight (USA 70 kg), the new range-leading Gallardo Superleggera is even more dynamic than the already very sporty Gallardo. The weight/power ratio of the Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera is only 2.5 kg/hp, which puts it unquestionably at the top.

The Superleggera also has the fastest acceleration in its class. It needs only 3.8 seconds to go from 0 to 100 km/h (0-62 mph); 0.2 seconds less than the basic model, and boasting speed and grit under other driving conditions.
The Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera is an extremely high-performance car: it includes a standard robotized mechanical 'e-gear' gearbox that guarantees shifting without removing hands from the steering wheel. The new Gallardo Superleggera can be ordered through the dealer network starting March 2007: production volumes will be restricted to lower numbers than the standard Gallardo.

More power thanks to technological developments
The Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera's engine is the latest version of Lamborghini's well-known 4,961 cm3 V10. Now 530 hp is reached in 8,000 min-1. The increase in power was made possible by the engine's improved volumetric efficiency through reduced intake load losses and by exhaust backpressures, together with optimized electronic control. Naturally, emission levels observe the strict EURO 4 and LEV II standards.

Higher power thanks to lighter construction
Lamborghini engineers decreased the Lamborghini Gallardo's already low weight when empty (1,430 kg) by another 100 kg using advanced materials and technologies. The engine hood is made of visible carbon fiber and transparent polycarbonate, a type of material that guarantees lightness and also shows off the magnificent V10. The rear diffuser and underbody covering, the rearview mirrors, door panels and the central tunnel's covering are also made of carbon fiber. Further reductions in weight were achieved by replacing certain glass surfaces with transparent polycarbonate. For the interior, monocoque carbon fiber sports seats covered in Alcantara® were chosen to ensure restraint of the driver and passenger during the intense lateral accelerations that the Gallardo Superleggera is capable of achieving around curves.

Exclusive specification and options range
A comprehensive specification and extensive range of options will be available, with some exclusive to the Superleggera. The Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera comes with robotized mechanical e-gear as standard; a sports package including shock absorbers; and special suede-covered steering wheel. The car is available in four colors: Midas Yellow, Borealis Orange, Telesto Gray and Noctis Black. Pirelli P Zero Corsa tires (standard) on new Scorpius forged rims accentuate the Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera. A few of the options that can be requested include the multimedia system with navigator and CD-changer; a rear video camera to make parking easier (with optional rear wing only); a Carbon accessories kit for the interior; a fixed rear spoiler; a four-point seatbelt (not for USA); tubular rear frame or fitting points for later inclusion (not for USA, Japan or Middle East); and carbon-ceramic brakes.
